And We're Off!

Here's our first experiment in posting photos in the context of a blog. Curious as to how many photos I'll be able to put up each time. I got 5 this time. Only about 1,500 more to go!

And since the title of this blog is "Travels with Dorien", we'll start off with a few shots of a very short "travel"...to Chicago's Michigan Avenue in the spring of 2011. Chicago does a wonderful job with its plantings.

Welcome to the Tulgy Wood

As usual, I am entering this venture--a sort of sequel to my Dorien Grey: A Life in Photos blog (http://www.doriengreyphotolife)--by closing my eyes and stepping off the cliff. At this moment in time, the only thing I can be fairly sure of is that it will be far more complicated than is either necessary or logical, and I must beg your indulgence in asking you to just come along with me and see where we wind up.

This is intended to be largely be a blog of annotated photos, though exactly how this will be achieved I really have no idea. It may be a horrendous blunder. We shall see.
